The Man Behind The Work Behind.

Truth Be Told...
I Didn't Set Out to Become a Marketer

I became interested in understanding why things work.

Before I was in marketing, I was writing stories, studying films, and paying attention to the decisions people make. I found myself asking the same kinds of questions over and over:

Why do some ideas stay with us? Why do certain messages resonate while others don't? What makes someone decide to act?

Over time, I realized those questions were just as relevant to business as creative storytelling.

Marketing became the place where curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving came together.

Today, that curiosity continues to shape the way I work.

How I Work

Every project starts in the same place.

Before thinking about campaigns, channels, or deliverables, I want to understand the challenge we're actually trying to solve.

I take time to learn about the business, the audience, and the context surrounding the problem. I research, ask questions, challenge assumptions, and look for the thread that ties everything together.

Only then do I begin thinking about messaging, customer journeys, automation, analytics, or campaign execution.

I've learned that thoughtful execution isn't separate from creativity.

What I'm Still Learning

Every campaign, conversation, and challenge teaches me something I didn't know before.

Sometimes it's about customer behavior. Sometimes it's about communication. Sometimes it's about recognizing that my first assumption wasn't the best one.

That mindset keeps me curious.

It's also what inspired this portfolio.

The Work Behind is my way of documenting not just what I've made, but what I've learned while making it.

Let's Connect

Whether you're looking for someone to develop marketing strategy, improve customer journeys, build thoughtful campaigns, or simply talk through a business challenge, I'd love to start a conversation.
